Good night life in Houston for people in older 20’s mid 30’s?
My fiance and I are dying to find somewhere fun to go and Houston so far has been so boring anyone know of any good nightlife? We are from Dallas and miss the nightlife there terribly.

bars, night clubs, restaurants, etc
Most people head downtown. There are a few clubs there.
The house of blues just opened up in downtown. I hear it’s really nice but the drinks are a little pricey.
A good spot is the Skybar on Saturday, it has a live band and it is great. You can look out over the city.
I’m from Fort Worth and trust me after moving here in ‘03, I miss Fort Worth/Dallas terribly!!! So I feel your pain…ha ha! Okay the best advice I can give you is trying downtown first and find what suits you best according to your vibe. If you’re not feeling it my advice would be to leave and try another club/bar. I’m 25 and don’t go out much well as I use to back at home, so I don’t know if I’m the right person to even give advice but I will say be patient. Good Luck!
