What are some great apartments for young professionals in Dallas?
I’m a young professional moving for work. I love to meet new people and I’m very social – I’ve never been to Dallas and I’m looking for a safe place and somewhere that is full of night life. I heard Uptown and Addison are good. Any good suggestions for areas and apartments to check out? Thanks!
The Village apartments are supposed to be very popular with the young professional set. They’re not too far from Greenville avenue, which is one of the main night life areas in the city.
The average age of Addison residents is significantly younger than the average age of the Texas population.

These apartments are considered nice and have good ratings. A lot of upwardly mobile professionals live there.

* In the evening people are out jogging, riding bikes and walking their dogs. There are restaurants and shops within the community.

It all depends on your ‘personality’ as to what area of town you will like the best.
Addison – if you enjoy suburbs, and do not like to walk places or fight for parking.
The Village – Only great if you are straight from college (gives the feeling of college apartments with lively neighbors and activiites).
Uptown (McKinny Ave Area) – Upwardly Mobile – young professionals, many bars and restaurants in area
Deep Ellum (Amli Apartments and various others ie Farmers Market) – near partially revivied music / art cultural district.
Lakewood – Young 30s professions, laid back,and possible to walk
Addsion! I lived in Addsion for 2 years now and i love it. It is really safe and alot of young people everywhere lots of great resturants close by in walking distance.
